As you can see I haven’t lost that much this week. I know it’s because of 2 main reasons.
Firstly, we all cheated a bit this week. We “allowed” ourselves too many rewards. Secondly, I know I didn’t drink enough water each day and the end result shows it! Water is very important in anybody’s diet, especially for those who are trying to lose weight.

I took this photo from inside the moving car… sometime last year.
Location: Northern Italy
Pity my Canon Digital IXUSi no longer works, it took such good photos without much effort on my part. I miss my camera!! Any suggestions for a good point and shoot digital camera that always takes fabulous shots?

Sometimes God Answers Prayers, Immediately!
Lately I’ve been struggling to get back into a regular routine of waking up early and getting chores and work done since I’ve been on a very long “holiday”. I resigned from my previous job in December so I’ve been jobless for almost a year now. Some of you might remember the stray cats that we found living in our yard last year when we moved in to this house.
There is mama kitty, a cute black and white cat with yellow eyes, who my parents rescued from a certain death when they found her, very weak, lying in our yard. She had had 5 kittens and could no longer hunt to feed herself and therefore could not take care of them either so they started leaving some cat biscuits outside for her in the evenings and she regained her strength. Out of that first litter only one stayed with her in our yard. The others either died (and dad buried them in the garden) or found another place to stay. Continue reading ‘Update on kitty family’

So as you might know from previous posts, I have a vegetable garden at the back of the house. We only started this new gardening adventure this year so we are really newbies and made a few mistakes as could be expected. We were blessed with many vegetables nonetheless.

Saturday Social Question
When you were younger, what did you want to be “when you grew up”?
Well, this is an interesting one. As I was growing up I changed my mind many times, here is a list of all the things I wanted to be:
Before first grade I think it was a policewoman so I could catch the bad people :p
In first grade I distinctly remember the moment I decided I wanted to be a teacher.
