Yesterday afternoon my whole family was in the garden for a little while, we were admiring the lovely blossoms that have opened all over. While we were standing there deciding which flowers we liked best, my sister and I noticed a very peculiar creature.
It was tiny, about 4-6cm long and flew around the flowers dipping it’s long “beak” into them to drink the nectar. It looked like a teeny tiny humming-bird and we were fascinated!
I ran in to the house to get my camera, but when I returned it had already disappeared. I was quite disappointed that I couldn’t get such a creature on video.
You might have noticed from previous posts that I took part in a competition to win premium WordPress themes. Well, the winners were announced early this morning and I am one of them! Yay!! :D
The strange thing is it’s the second competition I win this week! :p Incredible. In another competition I won a secondary prize that consists of a full year’s web hosting package! Wow…
